1. And Starfather’s word came to Tharúka Kór a second time, saying:

2. “Be it that you arise, dear one, going unto Qhàyul, the great ideapolis, where you shall preach, anounce, and intone elegant words unto it concerning the sermon that I am speaking unto you.”

3. So Tharúka arose, going to Qhàyul, being obedient unto the words spoken by Starfather. And Qhàyul was truly a massive city, having the length of three daywalks in diameter from walls to walls.

#

4. Then Tharúka began to enter, to go through the city for the length of the journey of a day, while he was crying out, announcing, saying, “’Tis after seven seven days that Qhàyul, by chance, is fated to be overthrown, to be destroyed.”

#

5. So the folk of Qhàyul set out to believe Starfather, as they began to announce a fast and began to put on masks of mourning upon themselves, they who were the High Castes, and the Nobles, the Low Castes and the slaves.

6. When the word, by chance reached, coming to the Viceroy King of Qhàyul, he arose from his throne, in order to remove his outer robes of his proper caste, in order to cover himself with robes of lamentation, and in order to sit in ashes.

7. He painted an important edict to be published, and it read, “In honored Qhàyul, because of a decree from the Viceroy King, the Nobles, and the Sylvan Priests, ‘tis chanted that may no adult taste anything, likewise may they only drink water, and likewise may they, in fact, merely feed their crystalbeasts, their herds, and their flocks by means of forbidden food for the Ancestors.

8. Be it that all persons wear dream clothing of sadness and that all mineralbeasts sigh, and may all the Children of Pfhentókha invoke the Creator along with His Æons and Stars with all their strength, in order that each person turn from his wicked habits and from the violence in their hands, tentacles, and wingfins.

10. Seeing the good deeds from them, when Starfather saw that they forsook their impious habits, then Starfather conceded, concerning the calamity which He had announced, saying that He would bring it forth. And He verily verily did not do such.
